Enrollment Procedure and Conditions​

  1. Please see your travel or study agent for complete details of enrolments procedure and visa requirements.
  2. If there is no local agent, please contact NZSA for assistance or refer to www.immigration.govt.nz for visitor visa application requirements.
  3. Approval of enrollments is conditional upon:
    1. Signed approval from a parent or guardian for all applicants aged 18 years or under;
    2. Purchase of current travel, personal property and health insurance policy for the duration of the programme;
    3. Agreement to abide by all conditions laid out in the NZSA Rules and Regulations, which will be included in the information pack forwarded once your enrolment application has been approved.

Payment

  1. A 10% non-refundable deposit is to be included with the completed enrolment form to secure your place in the programme. This amount is termed your ‘enrolment fee’.
  2. The remaining 90% programme cost must be received by NZSA no later than 1 month before commencement of the programme to confirm your participation. This amount is termed your ‘programme fee’.

Cancellations and Refunds

  1. Cancellation before your course starting date – NZSA will refund all fees except your enrolment fee (10% of the programme cost)
  2. Cancellation or course reduction during the first seven days of your course – NZSA will refund all fees, except for your enrolment fee, and either 10% of your programme fee or NZ$500, whichever is lesser. We will refund any unused portion of your accommodation fee.
  3. All payments to NZSA must be made by either direct debit or bank draft.

​Liability and Insurance

  1. At NZSA we take every care to ensure your wellbeing. However, NZSA will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury incurred within the academy, with a homestay family or on an academy trip or excursion.
  2. You are required to take insurance for your health, travel and personal property for the duration of your programme.
  3. NZSA will not be liable if, for any reason, the published programme cannot be offered. NZSA reserves the right to change courses and fees without prior notice.
